PRF welcomes Sustainable Finance Expert Anne Gram as New Board Member

The Planetary Responsibility Foundation (PRF) is proud to announce the appointment of Anne Gram to its Board of Directors, following the departure of Kirstine Damkjær, who has taken on a new position with UNOPS, which does not allow her to continue with PRF.

Anne Gram will assume an important role in PRF’s leadership, as part of the Foundation’s Investment Committee and in liasing with like-minded investors sharing PRF’s goal to protect and preserve nature and biodiversity and promote sustainable development.

Her exceptional expertise and leadership in sustainable finance will further strengthen PRF’s ability to grow it’s positive impact and help increase traction for the support of nature-related investments, aligned with the purpose and strategy of the foundation,” says Jens Böhme, CEO, PRF.

Anne Gram comes with more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, specializing in sustainable investment and climate-related finance. Her background includes a broad array of roles in investment management and governance, having held senior positions such as Chief Investment Officer and Director of Investments at asset managers including Robeco, ABN Amro Asset Management, and Fortis Mees Pierson. Today, she serves in several renowned roles, including board member at ABP and ATP, two of the largest pension funds in Europe, and chairs of the investment committees at the IBM pension fund and United Pensions, among others.

Anne Gram brings extensive expertise in governance and investment, with deep knowledge in areas such as asset allocation, risk management, sustainable and impact investing. A leader in integrating sustainability into financial practices, particularly focused on climate and biodiversity, she has helped pension funds design, enhance and implement their sustainability strategies. Additionally, she has made additional significant contributions to the financial community, including co-founding the CFA Society of the Netherlands and participating in several sustainability-focused organizations.

Anne is stepping into the role previously held by Kirstine Damkjær, who made a significant impact during her time at the foundation. PRF thanks Kirstine for her dedication and wishes her all the best in her position at UNOPS.
