At PRF we want to protect and preserve our planet’s nature and biodiversity and promote sustainable development. We do this through a holistic mindset and mission-driven investments that make a difference for both people and the planet.
RESTORE and RETHINK are the fundamental ideas that guide our work and help us create lasting impact.
RESTORE is about protecting and restoring the planet’s natural resources. For centuries, mankind has exploited the planet’s resources. Through a holistic approach to impact investing, we aim to give back by being involved in restoring some of the planet’s endangered ecosystems, preserving valuable natural resources, and improving economic and social conditions in local communities.
RETHINK is about doing business differently and in better balance with nature. Therefore, we invest in sustainable solutions and share knowledge about how we can build and live more sustainably.
Where we operate
To reverse biodiversity loss in the world’s most biodiversity-rich areas under threat, we need to focus our activities in relevant areas. Our restoration efforts are focused primarily in The Global South, where we see the greatest loss and threats to biodiversity. Our efforts to inspire and influence change to business and government are focused on in the Global North, where we see the major drivers of biodiversity loss and natural destruction.

The Background
PRF was founded in 2022 by Andreea Kaiser and Ludvig Find, who have owned and operated the real estate and urban development company ALFA Development since 2006.
How we operate
ALFA Development has committed to contributing with 100 million Danish kroner to the Foundation over the next ten years. It is part of PRF’s mission to create a return on the activities, which is reinvested in the Foundation’s work.
Open to Collaboration
PRF seeks partnerships with other foundations and investors, interest groups, companies, decision-makers and media outlets to create lasting change through material projects and knowledge sharing focussing on biodiversity, nature restoration, sustainable construction and socioeconomic development.
