Planetary Responsibility Foundation
strengthens the board with two prominent profiles

The Planetary Responsibility Foundation (PRF) has expanded its board with strong competencies within impact investment, leadership and ESG.
As of January 1, Kirstine Damkjær, Chairman of the Board of the wealth management company Formuepleje and Africa Finance Corporation, and Alison Fort, CEO of the Norwegian Katapult Foundation, have joined the board.

"At PRF, we have a huge task ahead of us in scaling our investments and activities globally. This requires strong collaborations and new investment and financing models. Kirstine Damkjær and Alison Fort will help solve this task with their solid network and experience from both Scandinavia and internationally," says Bruno Månsson, Chairman of the Board of PRF.

PRF was founded in 2022 by Andreea Kaiser and Ludvig Find, owners of the Scandinavian based urban and real estate development company ALFA Development. The purpose of the foundation is to help restore and protect the planet's nature and biodiversity and promote sustainable development based on the built environment.

The two new board members will provide the board with solid skills and experience, from home and abroad.

Kirstine Damkjær's global management experience and deep expertise in financing and ESG will help strengthen the foundation's work. Kirstine has more than 20 years of international experience from International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, a current position at Africa Finance Corporation along with an array of Danish financial institutions.

"I look forward to bringing my experience into play on PRF's ambition to use impact investment as a tool to create lasting change. There are great opportunities to scale the foundation's work through innovative financing models and partnerships," says Kirstine Damkjær.

Alison Fort brings deep knowledge of impact investing and a strong network within the field. Among other things, she has a Master's degree in AI ethics from Cambridge University, and with experience from both the academic environment and her work in several foundations, she can help to further develop the foundation's work with responsible investments.

"I believe that investments, technology and business are important tools to deliver a sustainable and equitable future. It will be exciting to be part of PRF's strategic development as it leverages its position and capital to catalyze lasting positive change," says Alison Fort.

In its first full year of operation (2023), PRF has focused on building a pipeline of potential projects and investments and has invested in Foresight Media Group, among others. The ambition for 2024 is to make new investments internationally that support nature restoration; to partner with nature organizations to do so; and to strengthen knowledge sharing around sustainable business operations.
